Firstly, the airline company does not have to retrain the candidate. Many airlines around the world require their cabin crew to be trained by the airline before they can be employed. Training companies who have been approved by the Transport Malta Civil Aviation Directorate (TM CAD) provide the necessary training. This saves the airline company from retraining.
Secondly, airline companies who hold a valid Attestation of Cabin Crew are able to use the Attestation as a reference document. The Attestation is written on official letterhead and is a legal document. It is a matter of pride for airlines to have a valid Attestation of Cabin Crew because it shows they are the company that has provided the training.
Transport Malta Civil Aviation Directorate (TM CAD) checks that all the company training is compliant with the EASA standards. Many airlines around the world have made the Cabin Crew Attestation mandatory in their policies and it is highly recommended by airlines. The Attestation is a prerequisite for most jobs in the cabin crew department. 827ec27edc
