The pack includes models for weapons and equipment, environments, actors and characters. Other included content is totally optional and not required for play. For example, the pack includes a very basic physics model for the player character (including an animation for jumping and falling, which was originally only available in the Half-Life CD-ROM version). There are currently over 1000 models included in the pack. There are models for most of the weapons in the original Half-Life, including all the firearms and their attachments and ammo variants, along with a model of the HECU. Additionally, models for the HECU's melee attacks are included. The pack also includes a new HECU model, an updated physics model, a new health bar system and several other minor modifications and visual improvements to the original Half-Life models. While much of the pack is completely optional (e.g. a new HECU model), it is also possible to play a game where all weapons are equipped with the new models and a new weapon is never introduced. This will result in a game with all-new and improved graphics and gameplay, but a game that is not playable with any of the original weapons or HECU. The maximum possible level for this version of the game is Half-Life Single Player, Episode 3 (Locust) at the point where the player is required to equip a firearm or HECU. The minimum possible level is the same as Half-Life Single Player, Episode 3 (Locust). The pack is compatible with Half-Life: Source, and with the HLTV CD-ROM version of the game. Unlike Half-Life: Source, it is not compatible with Half-Life: Opposing Force.
The original HL models were created by Valve Software and published under the GPL, while the HLTV models are created by Gearbox Software and are also published under the GPL. The HLTV models have been distributed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). Although the models are available for free, the developers request that users help in development and testing by reporting bugs.
Once a model has been added to the appropriate version, and I have removed it from the others, I will post a link to it here. This list will be updated periodically and will be kept up to date with the newest models.
Note: Some models may have more than one mod that has been added. Most of these are still valid, but I have removed a few that were causing problems in combination. If you notice any conflicts, please contact me so I can resolve them.

Some applications, such as Java, require that the application directories and libraries are updated to a newer version before the user can update. However, there are some applications that are not explicitly API-specific, such as the X Window System, the X server source code, are automatically updated as required. 827ec27edc
