Thursday, May 8, 2006 As part of the shared service policy, the university is committed to working in partnership with other entities and ensuring that programs are provided through a partnership model. Sharing a common facility provides for more efficient management and better service for students. Our living skills program (One Place) and our entrepreneurial program (the Future Group) will be housed together. The new programs will be co-located on the second floor of the Niels Bohr Library, the same floor where the Office of Undergraduate Studies is. This move allows for more knowledge sharing and awareness to students and staff members. The benefit of co-location of these programs is that they will be able to share resources and associate program web sites. This will increase communication between programs allowing for more integration where the most appropriate interdisciplinary expertise and services are needed. The social network will include peer collaboration on shared problem solving and job searching activities with courses across programs such as School of Business, School of Psychology, School of Architecture and School of Math and Science. d2c66b5586
