Hunter X Hunter (pronounced \"Hunter Hunter\", without the \"X\") is a 2011 anime series produced by Madhouse, based on Yoshihiro Togashi's famous, and frequently on hiatus, manga series of the same name. Set in a fictional world (whose map looks conspicuously like the real world's rearranged), the story centers around Gon Freecss, a 12-year-old boy who seeks to join the exclusive, prestigious Hunter Association (a group composed of exceptionally capable individuals in a variety of fields, ranging from exploration to bounty hunting to cooking), in an effort to find his absent father, a noted member of the group. Soon after he begins, he is joined by 3 other aspiring hunters - Killua Zoldyck (another 12-year-old boy, and also an accomplished ex-hitman-for-hire), Kurapika Kurta (a 17-year-old seeking to avenge the murder of his family), and Leorio Paradinight (a 19-year-old who primarily wants access to the organization's funding, so he can go to medical school).
What appears to be a Colt M1911A1 is (briefly) used by a Mafia member in Episode 44 (\"Buildup X To A X Fierce Battle\"); more are used by Mafia members in Episode 51 (\"A X Brutal X Battlefield\") and 52, with Pakunoda also using one in the former episode. The M1911A1 is also the standard-issue sidearm of the Pata City police officers seen in Episode 93 (\"Date X With X Palm\").
I've got to tell you before episode one I was ... I was really nervous. And- and although I spend a lot of my time standing in front of large numbers of people speaking live in the room, I find that a lot less terrifying because I can see the reaction of the people watching, then when all I can see is effectively the- the lens of my camera right there.
Er, huh 5 in the morning What in the damn hell, Adult Swim I can understand moving underperforming shows to a terrible timeslot - it technically keeps the show on the air so that fans can still watch new episodes, while clearing out the schedule for other stuff - but Moribito has been on the air all of three weeks, with nary a hint of promotion or even a recognition that it was even airing. And it's not even on Adult Swim's online video site! This is sad news, because I've grown to really enjoy Moribito quite a bit. It's slow-moving between the bombastic action set-pieces, but it's all very intriguing and smart and well-done in nearly every aspect. Lord knows why it was even picked up in the first place, because I'm honestly not shocked by this latest timeslot development. Even so, are 12 Oz. Mouse reruns at 1 in the morning so pertinent to your interests, Adult Swim Yes, you, Adult Swim, you... TV network that is clearly a TV network attempting to gain Male 18-34 year-old viewers and not an actual person, you!
In these two episodes packed with hyper-awesome super-robot fun-times, the Gurren brigade bunglingly answers a distress call, and then makes some modifications on Mr. Robot to make him non-water soluble. 59ce067264
