Hi After trying many things for so long, losing weight was impossible until I began the Optifast programme this January. Strangely I didn't experience any headaches etc. in the first few days as it says it would. I followed the programme strictly and seeing the weight go down on the scale gave me the motivation to keep going. I enjoyed all the optifast options that I tried - shakes/ bars/ desserts and soup (less favorite though). All in all I lost 22kgs in 5-6 months. Felt/feeling great. and now my greatest challenge is maintaining. If I had/have any side effects I think 'yes'. I lost some hair, complexion became dull, and face thin and long, mood changes (as noticed by others), weak sight (but not sure if this was the diet or me reaching 40s) to name a few.
